Terms of use
Version 2026-11-04. These terms are an agreement between you and Quiet Loop Labs, an individual developer based in Taiwan, who runs CareerOS. By creating an account you accept them. Please also read the privacy notice.
1. A free test version
CareerOS is an early test version, offered free of charge. Features may change, have mistakes or be unavailable at times. We may add paid features later; we will never charge you without asking first.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old. One account per person. Keep access to your email account safe, because sign-in codes are sent there.
3. Your content
The records, text and files you add stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy notice. You can download or delete them at any time.
4. Use AI results with care
AI suggestions, comparisons, plans and résumé drafts are guidance, not professional careers, legal or financial advice, and they can be wrong. Check everything before you use it. You are responsible for making sure that anything you send to an employer is true. Never add skills or experience you do not have.
5. Fair use
Do not use CareerOS to break the law, to store other people's personal data without the right to do so, to upload harmful code, to overload or scrape the service, or to try to access other people's accounts. We limit how often AI features can be used each day so the free service stays available to everyone.
6. Changes, suspension and closing
We may change or stop features. If we close the service, we will email you at least 30 days before so you can download your data. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk; where it is safe to, we will tell you why. You can delete your account at any time on Your account.
7. Responsibility
We provide the test service "as is" and do not promise it will help you get a job. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on AI results or by the service being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
9. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country. Questions: privacy@quietlooplabs.com.
